At the end of August I took the kids on a 'little' roadtrip to Manitoba. Grandma Penner was in Edmonton so she was able to accompany me on the long journey to Elm Creek. It was a great visit, as we were able to hit a family gathering, and see almost all of my extended family.
Yes, they do have green tractors on this farm ;)
And it was SO much fun to honk the horn.
Notice the very cute, pregnant sister in law! Can't wait!
Sawyer loved playing 'bee' with her much older cousins, Aunts and Uncles.
The feast
Saying grace.
Mhmmm! HOTDOGS!
I think she ate about 5 tomatoes/day. Grandma didn't mind...but Mommy did.
First marshmallow! LOVED it!
Loving the fish and chips.
'Cuddles' with Uncle Ty.
We even made 3 batches of salsa!
Playing with the puppies, Meg and Zeus.
Nighttime for Sawyer! She LOVED all of the extra readers at bedtime!
Great Grandma with her only two Great Grandkids. Soon there will be three! (And NO we're not contributing again).
Doesn't Sawyers cheese face just make you giggle. What a goof.
Swimming at Uncle Colin and Auntie Loris
The two blondies
Such clear water.
Even Uncle Colin jumped in for a swim.
Found some sand Mom! It's delish!
Sawyer off to weed Aunties garden.
Best sandbox ever!
Part 2 will come tomorrow...
